grace and lex could've met through stella i'm sure or maybe we can be like hey it's a small world and they could've randomly met at some other point when lex was styling someone. how long has she been a stylist? i wonder if it could've been when grace was working with rich people

oh god let me try and puzzle out this math... lex started styling as an intern her senior year in college and then worked for that same nyc stylist (mostly celebs and photoshoots and things) and only branched out on her own in the last couple of years, probably post covid. so officially like 8 years? 9 years??

okay so do you think it's possible lex would've been a guest or a +1 at a fancy nyc party when she was working there? because grace frequented those types of things and it could've happened there. two country girls see each other from across the room and can sense the yeehaw

oh, for sure! her boyfriend at the time (pretty much all that time) was fancy schmancy. i haven't nailed down exactly what he does but they were often at whatever kind of fun events in the city and met after hours and fancy parties so i love this

yesss! this is perfect. grace mostly worked remote when she was working for deloitte in nyc but she commuted from northmere to nyc or boston when necessary and to show her face at fancy events with her then-girlfriend natalie so lex would've probably met her also
